SV1446SD sweetcorn is impressing UK growers with its ‘super sweet’ taste and excellent lodging tolerance.

We are delighted with the feedback that we have received on the new Seminis sweetcorn SV1446SD.  Its super sweet taste make this an extremely attractive proposition to the consumer.  Growers are also delighted with its field performance.  This variety has excellent lodging resistance and with cobs at around 60cm high on the stem it is well suited to machine and hand picking.  This 2nd early variety at 75-77 days allows maximum flexibility with the opportunity to extend the season and give continuity of production in the early to main season transition.  For more product information click here or call us on +44 (0)2380 454676.
