Strong market contenders and new niche opportunities are at the fore of the Agility Agriculture and Takii Seed Brassica Innovation Days

The Agility Agriculture and Takii Seed team are looking forward to seeing growers during Week 41 at their Innovation Day site in Lincolnshire.

With many exciting developments in the Takii portfolio this year, and varieties that give growers a true point of difference, this event is one not to be missed.  Some highlights include Deuce Savoy cabbage.  This variety stands out due to its outstanding harvestability, bold colour, excellent disease tolerance and impressive savoy leaf.

In Red Cabbage, Ruby Charm and Pretino present growers with some exciting market opportunities.  Both varieties demonstrate huge potential due to their fantastic colour and taste.  Ruby Charm also displays a unique round head shape that lends itself extremely well to flow wrapping.

Coronata is set to be this years’ king of White Cabbage.  With superb long storage capabilities and its suitability for the fresh market, this variety has excellent disease resistance, alongside a uniform, well filled head and sharp white internal leaf colour.

Visitors to the event can also enjoy the opportunity to view some novel additions to the brassica baby leaf market and other new Takii Seed breeder material.

BASIS and NRoSO points will be available for all visitors.

At the time of writing, due to COVID-19 restrictions and to ensure maximum safety for everyone visiting the site will be by appointment only.  Please call the Agility team on 02380 454676 to arrange your appointment or email sales@agilityag.com.
